With private therapy, you're generally paying for ongoing, weekly sessions with no fixed number set out at the start. With the Anxiety Breakthrough Formula, you're paying £997 (or three payments of £333) for a defined, eight-session process aimed at a specific outcome. Neither is the wrong choice, but they're not actually paying for the same thing, and the price difference makes a lot more sense once you see what each one buys.
Private therapy in the UK generally runs £40 to £150 a session, depending on the therapist's training and experience, with more specialised practitioners charging more. Sessions are usually weekly, and, importantly, most therapy doesn't start with a fixed end date. You and your therapist figure out how long it takes as you go, which for a lot of people means months, and for many means years.
What you're paying for is exactly that: ongoing, professional support, session by session, for as long as you both agree it's useful. For some people, particularly those working through complex trauma or needing clinical support, that ongoing relationship is exactly right, and no coaching programme should try to replace it.
£997, paid once or over three months, for eight structured sessions built around a single method: finding where anxiety was created and un-creating it at the root. There's a defined start and a defined end. You're not paying session by session for an open-ended process. You're paying once for a process built to finish.
That's the actual difference in what the money buys, not just the total number. Therapy is priced per session because the length is open. Coaching here is priced as a whole programme because the length isn't.
It depends entirely on how long therapy runs. A handful of sessions of therapy costs less than £997. A year or two of weekly sessions, which is common, not unusual, comes to several thousand pounds, considerably more than the Anxiety Breakthrough Formula's one-off cost. Neither number is wrong. They're just answering different questions: one is priced per hour of support, the other is priced per outcome.
That depends on what you're looking for, not which one is objectively better. If what you need is ongoing, open-ended professional support, including clinical support for certain needs, therapy is built for that, and rightly so. If what you're looking for is a defined process aimed specifically at resolving anxiety at its root, with a clear start and finish, that's what the Anxiety Breakthrough Formula is built for.
Neither approach is being sold here as the only right answer. The point is understanding what you're actually paying for before you choose, rather than comparing two numbers without knowing what's behind them.
