Panic Attack Support with Richard
A panic attack can leave you frightened of your own body, worried about when the next one will happen and avoiding situations that once felt normal.
Discover how Richard’s personalised Anxiety Breakthrough Formula could help you understand the patterns surrounding panic and begin feeling calmer, safer and more confident.

A panic attack can arrive suddenly.
Your heart may race. Your breathing may change. You might feel dizzy, shaky, sick, detached from your surroundings or convinced that something terrible is about to happen.
Even after the attack has passed, the fear may remain.
You may start monitoring your body, planning escape routes or avoiding anywhere you worry another attack could happen.
The physical sensations are real. The fear is real. And the effect panic has on your confidence, independence and everyday life is real too.
You are not weak, attention-seeking or failing to cope.
Panic attacks involve a sudden rush of intense fear accompanied by mental and physical symptoms. Some people then begin living in fear of another attack, which can lead to avoidance and reinforce the cycle.
You spend time worrying about when the next attack will happen and whether you will be able to cope.
A change in your heartbeat can quickly make you believe something is seriously wrong.
You may feel unable to breathe properly or become frightened that you are choking.
Light-headedness or unsteadiness may make you worry that you will collapse or lose control.
The physical reaction can feel visible, embarrassing and impossible to hide.
Stomach sensations may become another sign that your body is no longer safe or predictable.
You may feel disconnected from yourself or as though your surroundings are strange and unreal.
You may worry that you will scream, faint, behave unpredictably or be unable to escape.
The sensations can feel so intense that you believe you may be having a heart attack or another medical emergency.
You may avoid shops, crowds, restaurants, public transport, motorways or anywhere that feels difficult to leave.
Meetings, conversations, appointments or events may become frightening because you worry people will notice you panicking.
You may wake suddenly feeling frightened or struggle to sleep because you are monitoring your breathing or heartbeat.
You may experience several of these difficulties together. Richard’s approach is personalised around how panic affects you.
Symptoms such as a racing heart, dizziness, breathlessness, nausea, shaking and feelings of losing control can occur during a panic attack. However, they can also have other causes, so if you have new, severe or unexplained symptoms alwaya consult your GP.
“After suffering a panic attack 10 year ago, I found myself going into social situations worrying that it may happen again. Subsequently this spiralled into a situation where I was avoiding socialising and when I was forced to speak to someone for an extended period I would feel the panic rising and make any excuse to get out of the situation.
With my up coming wedding approaching I knew I needed to resolve this once and forall. I was sceptical about getting outside help but decided to give it a go with encouragement from my partner. Over the coming weeks attending sessions with Richard he explained to me the negative thought processes that were causing my anxiety. With this new found understanding I began to build on my positive experiences and within weeks I was seeing a huge imrpovement.
I would encourage anyone that is sceptical to give it a try. If I had realised how quickly Richard would help me to overcome my problem, I would have done it years ago. I can't thank him enough.
Many thanks
Zoe.”
The first panic attack may happen unexpectedly. After that, the fear of experiencing another one can become a problem in itself.
1. You Notice a Trigger or Sensation
Your heart beats faster, your breathing changes or you enter a situation connected with a previous attack.
2. Your Mind Predicts Danger
You may think:
“What if this is another panic attack?”
“What if I faint?”
“What if I cannot breathe?”
“What if I cannot get out?”
“What if people notice?”
“What if something is seriously wrong?”
3. Your Body Reacts
Fear activates further physical sensations, which may make the original sensation feel even more threatening.
4. You Try to Escape or Feel Safe
You may leave, sit near an exit, contact somebody, check your pulse, control your breathing or avoid the situation completely.
5. You Feel Temporary Relief
Escaping or avoiding the situation reduces the immediate fear.
6. The Situation Feels More Dangerous Next Time
Your mind may connect the relief with escaping, checking or avoiding. This can make you feel less confident about coping without those safety behaviours.
The NHS describes how avoiding situations because you fear another attack can create a cycle of living in “fear of fear”.
The problem is not that you are choosing to panic.
The fear and physical response have become closely connected and increasingly automatic.
You may have tried:
Some approaches may have helped you understand or manage what happens.
But you may still feel frightened whenever you notice a physical sensation or enter a situation where you previously panicked.
That does not mean you have failed.
It may mean that the thoughts, reactions and safety behaviours surrounding panic still need to be understood and addressed.
CBT and medication are among the recognised treatment options for panic disorder. Richard’s programme should not replace medical care, and any decisions about prescribed medication should be made with the healthcare professional responsible for it.
The Anxiety Breakthrough Formula is Richard’s personalised eight-session programme for people who feel held back by anxiety, panic, avoidance and fear.
Rather than assuming everybody experiences panic in the same way, Richard begins by understanding your individual pattern.
Together, you may explore:
The aim is to help you understand the cycle surrounding panic, respond differently to anxious sensations and rebuild confidence in your ability to cope.
Your sessions will focus on how panic affects your real life and the changes that matter most to you.
The complete eight-session Anxiety Breakthrough Formula programme is:
£997 Paid in Full
or
Three Monthly Payments of £333
The instalment option has a total cost of £999.
Before deciding, you can book a free 30-minute consultation with Richard.
This gives you the opportunity to explain what has been happening, ask questions and find out whether Richard believes the programme is suitable for your needs.
There is no pressure and no obligation to go ahead.
Many clients tell me they begin to feel better during the consultation itself. Having their symptoms properly explained, gaining a clearer understanding of what is happening and seeing why they feel the way they do can be enlightening.
For some people, it is the first time in a long time that they have felt there may genuinely be light at the end of the tunnel.
The full programme costs £999.
You can pay in full or spread the cost across three payments of £333.
We can discuss the payment options during your consultation so that everything is clear before you make a decision.
Our approach is different because we focus on how you may be unintentionally creating and maintaining your anxiety symptoms.
Together, we identify your individual anxiety formula so that you can understand exactly what keeps the cycle going and learn how to reverse it.
Once you can see your formula in action, you cannot unsee it. That understanding can be incredibly freeing and allows you to begin stepping away from the patterns that have been keeping your symptoms alive.
Many people worry that their situation is different, too complicated or has been going on for too long.
When you have tried several things and your symptoms keep returning, it is completely understandable to feel doubtful or believe that nothing will work for you.
During the consultation, I will listen carefully to your situation and explain honestly how I may be able to help. I will also tell you if I do not believe my programme is right for you, so that you leave with a clearer understanding of your next steps and how you can move forward.
Yes. It is important that the programme feels right for you and that I am confident I can help.
The consultation gives us both an opportunity to talk through your situation, explore what you would like to change and decide whether working together is the right next step.
The consultation is a free, friendly and informative conversation. It is simply an opportunity for you to explain what has been happening, ask questions and find out more about how the programme works. There is no pressure and no obligation to go ahead. The purpose is to help you understand your options and decide what feels right for you.

You may have become used to monitoring your body, planning escape routes and avoiding situations where you fear another attack could happen.
But you do not have to work everything out before asking for support.
Taking the first step does not commit you to the programme.
It simply gives you the opportunity to speak with Richard, ask questions and discover whether the Anxiety Breakthrough Formula could help you feel more confident and in control.
